Week two, 10 000 steps challenge, easy hay, um….. No! This was 10000 per day. Yes you don’t have to clean your glasses you read it correctly, PER DAY! Have you ever actually tried that? It’s HARD so I resorted to dancing while I was cooking supper or sorting the boys lunches, I was bouncing on the little training trampoline, I have now also learnt to carry my phone everywhere, as in everywhere, to the bathroom, to the room to make the beds shopping and even strapped it to me when I was doing my gym sessions, trust me when you have committed to 10000 every single teeny tiny step counts.
But it paid off – 3KG down baby! Feeling fitter stronger and teaching my body that I control it, NOT the other way around.
Then came time to plank, we planked so much I could almost build a small log cabin. And I did it, I managed the 2 minutes at the end of the week! Damn we are machines ladiesJ
One of my fav trainer says you can do anything you put your mind too, all you need to do is believe. And something to remember is that training is more mental ( and I mean that in the good way) than physical, your mind tells you that you need to get up and get moving, if you left it to your body, it would probably never happen. So keep that mind strong, teach that body who is actually in control and then revel in the results.
