Oh my gosh!
have you ever tried to Blog? Have you like really? Well I have tried and I have failed and I totally and absolutely suck at it, BUT............ every marketing tutorial and series and talk I have sat through all talk about the importance of your website and of course the obligatory
I was stuck, now what?
I began to research and through a long laborious, many sleepless nights pondering and stressing over how to jump this hurdle, I found stuff!
DID YOU KNOW!!!!
They have created 3 day intense seminars on just creating content for successful blogging, I was pick the jaw up shockers, three days???? Seriously???? Until I started digging deeper, well, let me tell you that a blog post is not just a pretty little story you can pop onto your site that draws people in,
oooohhhh no no no no no!,
it’s an art, a science and so I have tried to create a little helping hand for you if you would like it. Please feel free to use print and enjoy the little prompt worksheet I created, and I will break each section down for you in this post.
It is all pretty self-explanatory but here we go anyway
If you don’t like it you not gonna read it. So if your readership isn’t caught first thing by the headline, the chances are that they are not going to go any further. Brainstorm them and write down some options and then pick the best from the rest.
THE OPENING STATEMENT:
just a little follow on from the heading, grab em, hook em, tie em down and let them experience the awesomeness that is you, where you show them how you can solve their problems, give them what they have been looking for all their lives, how you can improve them and make them happy and make them smile.
PRETTY CONTENT: cover the details, make it:
Fun, making them giggle, makes them happy.
Easy to read
Easy to follow
Content with some substance
Give them the good stuff
graphics, images and pictures work, pick some and work with them, they can be stock images, photographs you have taken, graphs, hand sketches, pictures... if it helps prove my point, I would even go so far as to use some of my boys’ (4 and 6) home drawn pictures, they way they interpret information is priceless !
Then, put it all together and
It’s like magic, you have a blog post, and if you think I am pulling your sock, (which I would never do, as I love my socks, they are my comfort food) (some eat for comfort, I wear fluffy socks)
Cast your eyes up, I think I covered all the prompts pretty damn well, even if I do say so myselfJ
Thank you for your time and your awesomeness, if I can help by answering questions, or if you have thoughts you would like to add, I would be absolutely delighted to see, read and answer all your many, bust the internet comments.
aslo, being new to this whole scene, if you are unable to print the worksheet, please leave your email in the comments section and i will then email you the printable PDF version of it....
Welcome! i am Ashleigh,
So happy you are here, thank you for joining me.... enjoy and i look forward to having you back asap:)
