I get bored so easily and so quickly, and I have this serious problem with patience! Just ask my family, If I want something I want it NOW. It’s a problem I tell you!
Then I met my perfect match my minds knight in shining armour, and now I am addicted, running behind it drooling like a love sick puppy I just can get enough and I can fit enough into the time I have. I learn how to shoot, how to look at things differently , I get to create props and skirts and baby outfits, go shopping for materials, paints, papers, I get to be a business person an executive, then I get to be the hair up in a messy bun yoga pants and fluffy socks type.
And the actual shooting side, lenses, apertures and F stops. Lighting and reflectors indoor out door colour casts. Oh yes, photography is so easy! All you do is pick up your camera and go click……
Oh yes cooking is so easy, all you have to do is hit the auto on the microwave said no chef EVER! Needless to say, I am never bored with photography. Never.
This weekend just past I did some research and met (cyber stalked) a magician when it comes to realistic yet created light, a Mr Roberto Valenzuala. A Beverly Hills wedding photographer. So his teaching has become my latest obsession. First opportunity I got, I had google on the ipad camera in one hand and flash in the other and I was testing, then I grabbed my willing (bribery induced) nieces and set up my indoor studio and it worked! I got the flash to flash me baby and now I am not drooling over R2200000000000000 worth of studio lighting (yes I exaggerate…. A little) because I have the tools to produce magical results with the equipment that I already have!
I have a bucket load to learn, but geez what else is there to do between 2 and 5:30 in the morning?
Trust me, where there is a will there is a way, and opportunity will ALWAYS make its way to you. Always.
